As warmer weather approaches, it is about time to clean up the back yard and revamp your outdoor living space. What better way to do this than creating an environmentally friendly living area. Recently there has been a push towards buying green homes and living in a healthy, fresh, home atmosphere. These are some quick tips to turn your yard into a healthy, eco-friendly sanctuary!

Create a Garden

This is an awesome option for any home. If you have a small outdoor space you can make a smaller garden so you are able to brighten the area you have with an environmentally friendly component. If you have a lot of space in your yard you have the option to create a vast wildlife garden. A wildlife garden is extremely beneficial to the environment because it provides a home for pollinators and is very self sufficient. Wildlife gardens do not need a lot of maintenance and they use a lot less water than a typical garden, not to mention it is absolutely beautiful.

Build or Install a Fire Pit

A fire pit is an awesome addition to your outdoor living space for many reasons. It is a great space to hangout on summer nights with friends and family and there are a number of options for eco-friendly fire pits. Using bioethanol fuel is a great place to start. It is a renewable fuel made from agricultural byproduct so it is an awesome alternative for your next fire pit!

Buy Eco-Friendly Patio Furniture

Getting fun patio furniture is a great way to add a pop of color to your outdoor living space. By using organic cotton and hemp you can make decorating your outdoor space eco friendly as well. Finding cushions that do not have synthetic fiber, but instead are filled with organic cotton, soy or corn is a great start. There are a lot of places that offer cushions that are made with natural dyes as well, so you can still get that pop of color without the harmful effects of synthetic dyes.

Compost Bin

Having a compost bin has many benefits. Not only does it reduce the amount of waste you would typically send off in the garbage but it can also be used as a natural fertilizer for your garden or lawn. If you are looking for a little extra money there are some places where you are able to sell the compost as fertilizer!  Compost bins are very inexpensive and the benefits are immeasurable. It is one of the easiest way to take a step to a greener home atmosphere!

Overall

These are just four ways to create an eco friendly and sustainable outdoor living space. There are countless options and steps to take towards a greener future but this is a good place to start if you are unsure. Start with something simple like planting a small garden and add some more green elements each time you clean up your outdoor space! What other ways can you make your outdoor sanctuary more eco friendly?

Environment safety is a factor which is neglected in our society an eco-friendly space should be at everyone house. We had a small space in front of our house and the best eco thing which I could figure out is to make a garden on it. As it is both benefits for society the more greenly it is the livelier your society and country would be.
